This course aims at enabling the graduate students to learn the advanced analytical methods for environmental contaminants. Students are expected to be able to recognize and to design a practical project for the unbiased evaluation of the distribution of these contaminants.

This course instructs the students to learn trace or ultra-trace analytical methods for the determination of organic and inorganic contaminants. The subjects include sampling, sample preparation, qualification, quantification, and method validation.
