教育目標 Course Target

本課程規劃為一學年的課程。在第一學期,初步引導學生循序漸進地深入理解初期大乘佛學思想,其中包含般若、中觀、唯識與如來藏等不同學派的哲學理論。第二學期學習的焦點著則重於中國大乘佛學,其中包含中國早期般若與中觀哲學、瑜伽行與如來藏的傳入與發展,而後深入探討三論、天臺、華嚴與禪等學派的哲學理論。由於本課程為研究所的課程,除了引導學生深入理解大乘佛學中各學派的哲學理論之外,獨立閱讀與詮釋原典之能力的培養更是本課程的重要目標。因此,本課程規劃每個課題的研討均包含初步的理解、深入的討論以及引導學生獨立閱讀與詮釋相關的原典與文本等三個部份,希望藉由這樣的訓練,培養學生的批判思考與獨立研究能力。This course is planned as a one-year course. In the first semester, students are initially guided to gradually and deeply understand the early Mahayana Buddhist thought, which includes the philosophical theories of different schools such as Prajna, Madhyamaka, Consciousness Only, and Tathagatagarbha. The focus of study in the second semester is on Chinese Mahayana Buddhism, including the introduction and development of early Prajna and Madhyamaka philosophies, Yogacara and Tathagatagarbha in China, and then in-depth exploration of the philosophies of the Three Treatises, Tiantai, Huayan and Zen schools. theory. Since this course is a graduate course, in addition to guiding students to deeply understand the philosophical theories of various schools of Mahayana Buddhism, the important goal of this course is to cultivate the ability to independently read and interpret original scriptures. Therefore, the discussion of each topic in this course includes three parts: preliminary understanding, in-depth discussion, and guidance of students to independently read and interpret relevant original classics and texts. It is hoped that through such training, students can cultivate their critical thinking and Independent research ability.
