移動，越境について「理論的な把握」をし，「各地域の実態」について考察し，移動によって発生する「他者」との関わりの在り方についても検討する．
授業では「移動」に関する「学術的な検討」および「修士号取得を目指す学生に必要な知識・実践能力の養成」を行うことを目標としている．
第1回目の授業から受講生が「移動」に関わる学術的な関心を説明し，それらの「関心」に関連づけながら授業を進めていく．
