本課程目標在透過專題方式，使修課者對隋唐時代大乘佛教中禪宗、淨土、密宗、律宗、三論、唯識、天台、華嚴等八個宗派能有一定程度的認識，可以做為進一步研究佛教哲學的基礎。The goal of this course is to enable students to have a certain understanding of the eight sects of Mahayana Buddhism in the Sui and Tang Dynasties, including Zen, Pure Land, Tantra, Vinaya, Three Treatises, Consciousness Only, Tiantai, and Huayan Buddhism in the Sui and Tang Dynasties. It can be used as a further Study the foundations of Buddhist philosophy.
