晚明小品跳脫復古派窠臼，而以閒情、逸趣、抒發性靈與諷喻世情為主，使文學道統的觀念，一改為為發抒個人情感工具。以文學史的角度來看，相當於「現當代新文學」。
本課程目標為：
一、 文獻閱讀：閱讀並從中理解所選16家作品的風格與趣味。
二、 文化探討：理解晚明抒情與自由的文化風尚。
三、 影響與接受：理解不同時代選本如何訂定選拔標準。The late Ming skits repelled the ancient school's stubbornness, and focused on leisure, leisure, expression of spirit and worldly emotions, so that the concept of literary Taoism will be changed to a tool for expressing personal emotions. From the perspective of literary history, it is similar to "modern contemporary new literature".
The purpose of this course is:
1. Reading in literature: Read and understand the style and interest of the 16 selected works.
2. Cultural exploration: Understand the cultural style of lyricism and freedom in the late Ming Dynasty.
3. Impact and acceptance: Understand how to set selection criteria for books in different eras.
