中國戲曲至明代掀起了另一個創作的高峰，除了出現與元代雜劇並駕齊驅、各領風騷的諸多優秀傳奇作品，並呈現出具有時代特色的審美標準與主題內涵。而中國戲劇理論承繼先秦以降藝術和文學理論的傳統，並隨著戲劇創作的蓬勃發展，逐漸產生了許多精微深刻的戲曲理論，而在明清兩代展現出集大成的成熟表現。
這門課將聚以明清兩代重要的戲曲理論以及傑出劇作進行討論，除了讓中文系研究生對於中國戲古典劇理論有一基礎之認識之外，同時將搭配相關劇本的閱讀與討論，檢視劇論與劇作之間的呼應關係，藉以理解古典戲曲的藝術特色以及古典劇論開展的依據，進而確立如何鑑賞古典戲劇的審美標準。The Chinese drama set off another peak of creation from the Ming Dynasty. In addition to the numerous excellent and legendary works of Yuan Dynasty dramas and various leaders, they also present the contemporary aesthetic standards and theme connotations. China's theories inherited the tradition of art and literary theory since the pre-Qin period, and with the vigorous development of drama creation, it gradually produced many subtle and profound theories, and showed a complete and mature expression in the Ming and Qing dynasties.
This course will discuss important theories and works of the Ming and Qing dynasties and their works. In addition to giving Chinese graduate students a basic understanding of Chinese classical theories, they will also combine reading and discussions with related scripts to view the drama. The relationship between the discussion and the drama is to understand the artistic characteristics of classical dramas and the basis for the development of classical dramas, and then determine how to comprehend the standards of classical dramas.
