都市的構成元素，包括 山、河、湖、海等等天然元素與建築物、橋樑等等人造景之人為元素;人、車等之活動體元素;季節、氣候等之時間性元素;以及人文、風俗等之心靈元素。本課程即據此而與藝術領域中的造形元素以及形式原理結合，冀能引導學生對都市景觀之欣賞、評鑑與創新的設計能力。

The structural elements of the city include natural elements such as mountains, rivers, lakes, and seas, as well as artificial landscapes such as buildings, bridges, and other artificial landscaping elements; activities such as people and cars; temporal elements such as seasons and climates; and spiritual elements such as humanities and customs. This course combines this with the shape elements and form principles in the art field, hoping to guide students' appreciation, evaluation and innovative design capabilities for urban landscapes.
