中國大陸對台灣而言的重要性已是無須贅言，然而，台灣對於中國大陸的了解可以說是不足的。透過《中國製造》，本課程主旨在於幫助學生深入了解中國的政治、社會、及人民(如勞工) ，並進一步了解中國的變化與當今中國與世界的關聯。Understand the manifestation, influence and impact of globalization by understanding the global manufacturing chain.
The importance of mainland China to Taiwan is needless to say. However, Taiwan’s understanding of mainland China can be said to be insufficient. Through "Made in China", the purpose of this course is to help students gain an in-depth understanding of China's politics, society, and people (such as labor), and to further understand China's changes and the relationship between China and the world today.
本課程不特別指定教科書，教材部分將由本人提供書 (章節) 及期刊論文做為每週主要及次要讀物。
This course does not specify textbooks. The textbooks will be books (chapters) and journal articles provided by me as the main and secondary readings each week.
