目前傳統法學教育面臨兩大問題:一是傳統的法學課程設計並未顧及學生的生活經驗;學生對於現在社會上許多產業的運作情形不瞭解,並且缺乏生活上的法律實務經驗,導致其在領悟與學習法學知識上產生一定的困難。
因此,積極規劃一個新系列的,能夠落實品格陶冶並強化學生法學專業技能法學課程的必要。這系列的課程可以在既有的基礎法學課程上,再行補充、拓展並強化學生的法學智能,以求達成「培育一群有社會價值觀的法律專業人才」的目標。
在既有「法律倫理」課程外,應加強法律系學生與社會工作間的聯繫。例如經由課程的設計,讓學生充分理解律師本身負有公益的義務,而不是純以收益為目標的營利機器。透過與地方公益團體合作,在學生求學階段中,適度地提供學生一個有系統的接觸社會,接觸法律專業,讓學生實際體會弱勢保障與公益維護的環境,進而具體化法律專業與公益事業間的定位與形象。
此系列課程的目的在於給予法學教育另一種新的想像:因為我們相信,法學教育應該著重於培養一個能夠親近與理解這個社會的法律人,而非塑造另一個新的社會階級。希望能透過讓學生在公益團體之學習課程,具體形塑法律學生於法律事業中的公益思維,同時達成凝聚法律學生在社會服務的向心力,促使在地社區團體、社會服務團體與學校在公益事務的互動上有更緊密的連結。At present, traditional law education faces two major problems: First, the traditional law course design has not been understood and the students' life experience; students do not understand the operating situations of many industries in society today, and lack legal practice experience in life, which has led to certain difficulties in their understanding and learning legal knowledge.
Therefore, it is necessary to plan a new series that can implement character cultivation and strengthen the need for students to learn professional skills in law courses. This series of courses can supplement, expand and enhance students' legal intelligence in existing basic law courses, in order to achieve the goal of "cultivating a group of professional legal talents with social value".
In addition to the existing "Legal Ethics" course, the connection between law students and social work should be strengthened. For example, by designing the course, students can fully understand that the lawyer himself has the responsibility of public welfare rather than a pure profit-oriented profit machine. Through cooperation with local public welfare groups, students can provide students with a systematic contact society and legal profession in the learning stage, so that students will actually weakly protect and public welfare environments, and thus define the positioning and image of legal profession and public welfare.
The purpose of this series of courses is to give legal education another new imagination: because we believe that legal education should focus on cultivating a legal person who can get close to and understand this society, rather than shaping another new social level. We hope that through the learning courses of students in public welfare groups, we can shape the public welfare thinking of law students in legal affairs, and at the same time achieve a centralized force for law students to serve socially, so as to promote closer connections between local community groups, social service groups and schools in the interaction of public welfare affairs.
