1.確保勞工的基本權益：勞工保險是一個勞工初入職場所必要的保障。但是，長久以來，勞雇雙方往往忽略此一重要的社會保險法益，導致在勞保事故發生時，勞工無法或難以獲得應有的勞保給付。其結果，勞工必須轉而經由冗長的訴訟程序（勞保條例第72條規定），以取得訴訟正義，惟其是否即能獲得賠償，似乎是有疑義的。
2.訓練學生搜集及分析勞保的能力：勞工保險是社會保險的一環，但其顯然佔有相當重要的地位。在配合勞工法給予進入職場勞工的權益保障之際，法定的勞工保險提供一個穩定的國家給付。其種類繁多，可以給事故勞工各種保障，本課程希望能有系統地簡單介紹勞工保險條例的內容，以讓學生初步了解進入職場的勞保權益，並且訓練學生搜集勞工保險相關資料的能力。
3.訓練國家考試的能力：我國國家考試的種類眾多，法律系學生一向以考試為重，開設此一課程可以與勞工法課程相互補，有助於學生理解勞工法問題的全貌，幫助學生考試通過。所以，本課程將配合以案例解析的方式進行。
4.勞工保險的給付、爭議與救濟，形成一個嚴厲的網路，對於被保險人權益的實現息息相關，因此，本課程的設計也及於勞工保險的爭議與救濟。1. Ensure the basic rights of workers: Worker insurance is a necessary guarantee for a new employee to enter the job. However, for a long time, both parties often ignore this important social insurance legal interest, which leads to the inability or difficulty in obtaining the due insurance payment when insurance accidents occur. As a result, workers must be transferred through long-term lawsuit procedures (provisions under Article 72 of the Security Ordinance) to obtain the right to sue, but it seems to be doubtful whether they can get compensation immediately.
2. The ability of trainees to collect and analyze insurance: Worker insurance is a circle of social insurance, but it obviously plays a very important position. In cooperation with the Labor Law to protect the rights of workers entering the field, the legal labor insurance provides a stable national payment. There are many types and can provide various guarantees for accident workers. This course hopes to have a systematic and simple introduction to the content of the labor insurance regulations to allow students to have a preliminary understanding of the insurance rights and interests of entering the field, and to train students' ability to collect labor insurance-related information.
3. Ability to train national exams: There are many types of exams in our country, and law students have always focused on exams. Establishing this course can complement the labor method course, which helps students understand the overall picture of labor method problems and helps students pass the test. Therefore, this course will be conducted in conjunction with case analysis.
4. The payment, dispute and economic relief of labor insurance form a strict network, which is closely related to the reality of the insured human rights. Therefore, the design of this course is also the dispute and economic relief of labor insurance.
