本畢業設計課,全班學生依其興趣及志願,約略分為『規劃設計』及『研究』等二大組。
這二組之課程目標皆是檢測學生之相關專業能力是否合格如下:
1.具有景觀規劃設計的專業能力:指能運用景觀規劃與設計相關基礎理論與專業知識,對於環境在自然、人文、景觀、使用者面向進行科學化的問題分析與整合解決能力。
2.具備景觀專業表達能力:指綜合運用口頭、文字、圖?等方式,展示規劃邏輯和方案的能
力。
3.具備專案的管理能力:指學生能確認專案的目標,在有效率地控制成本、時間、資源等,發揮創意的構思設計能力,將景觀專業知識、工具和技術運用到景觀規劃或設計的專案上,能夠有步驟、有程序地完成專案之需求。
4.具有獨立研究的能力:指學生能配合景觀規劃或設計的專案需求,具有獨立思考、
分析判斷的基本能力。

本課程乃景觀系設計系列課程之一,強調訓練學生落實本系所學系列性設計課程所學,整合本系學生自大一所學之不同專業課程之知識,進行綜合的、邏輯的思考,並藉由實際的基地進行操作與運用,培養學生景觀規劃設計專案的管理與執行能力,同時強化專案研究的能力。本課程配合學生之學習需求,並發展不同之課程設計,其中包括:規劃設計組及論文組等。
