隨著自由化貿易與國際貿易比較利益的潛規則, 發展出有創意的獨特產品為避開競爭的法門, 因之會有創意腦力激盪的探討.
產業產品轉移至低工資生產地以降低成本維持競爭力是趨勢, 若開發出差異性甚至獨佔性的產品, 產品可以躍升至價格的決定者, 高附加價值可以支付較高的工資水平, 讓失業率降低, 而工廠之經營將擺脫逐低工資水草的遊牧經營.
經濟環境之穩定, 除物價穩定外, 充分就業亦為重要指標, 而創業適足以提供更多工作機會. 在課堂上會分享創業成功因素的分析, 本身條件與競爭對象有利不力因素的探討, 期能知己知彼,並將經濟環境與國際景氣納入決策模式, 如此應可提高成功率.
創業前後如何將自己的能力提升至符合經營需求, 先行評估並用努力補強, 產品推出市場如何定價, 如何選定合作夥伴, 能由導入期進入成長期成熟期, 並在銷售衰退前有替代產品推出, 完善的市場規劃將有助於永續經營. 又產品推出並須經由通路, 而通路或賣場有其考核採購人員與衡量產品銷售是否符合標準, 進而決定降價促銷, 廣告, 或優惠方案. 因為零售業在美國已經非常成熟, 與國外連鎖店的採購有二十年以上的合作經驗, 當可分享經驗, 能與買家建立夥伴關係.
