五年級下學期之「畢業設計」課程為本系從低年級起一系列核心設計課程的最後一門必修設計課,修習同學必須在前學期之「畢業設計專題討論」課程中擬定畢業設計題目方向,並通過題目評審階段方得修習,課程主要讓建築系同學受五年之建築教育後,能整合所有的建築專業知識、思考邏輯、人文觀點、美學能力、創意想法等等,提出自己對建築之看法與做法,過程中必須依照規定時程進度提出完整的議題方向、觀察分析、設計策略與不同發展方案,最後在畢業設計正評時呈現出合乎專業教育水準的建築設計案,包含口頭溝通、圖面與模型成果,接受專任教師共同的評審後始得通過。The "Graduation Project" course in the second semester of the fifth grade is the last compulsory design course in a series of core design courses in the department starting from the lower grades. 建築設計習作(八)為建築系四年級下學期的設計分組教學,由四位老師分組開設,採取的是工作室的教學方式,各組的設計題目由四位老師出題,本學期的題目有:氣候變遷下的都市地景策略、建築中「開口」新的可能性、「形」的研究與開發、個別式改建的高密度市街區等議題,各組自行教學進度,並安排期中與期末評圖,可以說實驗性與自由度較高的設計課程。
