領導(Leadership)在組織中的意義,乃是針對工作環境中的人員,導引與指揮其行為朝向特定目標的過程。領導的議題是組織管理領域中最常被拿來研究的課題之一,也是具有最漫長的歷史與豐富的文獻,因為吾人向來均相信所有組織與企業的興衰榮枯都是依靠有效的管理與卓越的領導。本課程將首先探討與領導相關的概念及理論,例如:權力、衝突與合作、溝通及協調、個人與團隊決策,及組織文化等議題,接著比較管理者與領導者之間的差異,然後再依序介紹領導的各種理論:特質論、行為論、領導者與部屬的互動論、權變論,以及新特質論,最後探討組織文化與領導的關係。
本課程除了課堂上討論所有相關的理論與概念,更希望學生能夠透過閱讀各種傳記及企業的報導來達到理論與實務的相互印證。The meaning of leadership in an organization is the process of guiding and directing the behavior of people in the work environment toward specific goals. In addition to discussing all relevant theories and concepts in class, this course also hopes that students can achieve mutual confirmation of theory and practice by reading various biographies and corporate reports.
