統計方法是社會科學研究中常用的方法之一，本課程的主要目的就是讓同學了解統計可以應用來做什麼。本課程將以簡單、生活化、合乎邏輯的方式，闡述統計如何被應用來分析問題，並透過數據提出解答。課程上會盡量避免艱深的內容和數學推導，學習的重點是讓同學獲得正確的統計應用方法。Statistical methods are one of the commonly used methods in social science research. The main purpose of this course is to let students understand what statistics can be used for. This course will explain in a simple, life-like and logical way how statistics can be used to analyze problems and provide answers through data. Difficult content and mathematical derivation will be avoided as much as possible in the course, and the focus of learning will be to enable students to acquire correct statistical application methods.
