本課程乃是政治系國際關係組二年級的必修課程。其內容主要在介紹當今主要國家的政府與政治體制，其中包括工業化民主國家英國、法國，德國、日本等；共產及後共產國家俄羅斯、中共等；以及開發中國家印度、墨西哥等。藉由比較這些國家的政府體制（行政、立法、司法、文官）與政治體制（政黨、利益團體）上的差異，以及實際政治（政治參與、政治引用、政府決策）運作上的不同，來說明影響政府體制及其實際政治運作的原因為何，以期學生具備相關的政治知識，分析判斷與公共服務的能力。This course is a compulsory course for second-year students in the International Relations Section of the Department of Political Science. Its content mainly introduces the governments and political systems of today's major countries, including industrialized democracies such as the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Japan; communist and post-communist countries such as Russia and the Communist Party of China; and developing countries such as India and Mexico. By comparing the differences in the government systems (executive, legislative, judicial, civil servants) and political systems (political parties, interest groups) of these countries, as well as the differences in the actual political operations (political participation, political references, government decision-making), to illustrate What are the reasons that affect the government system and its actual political operation, so that students can have relevant political knowledge, analysis, judgment and public service capabilities.
