學生除了學習家庭經濟學的觀念、理論及實證知識外，還可透過小組報告、課堂討論等機會實際運用基礎經濟學對周遭的家庭與日常生活接觸到的問題有更進一步的分析與了解。針對每一課程主題，將先由指定的學生小組針對先行給定的問題報告他們蒐集到的資訊、啟動課堂討論後，再進行教師講授內容，期許在這樣的課程設計下，進而拓展學生的獨立思考、研究認知、開發創新及公眾表達等能力。

In addition to learning the concepts, theories and empirical knowledge of family economics, students can also use basic economics through group reports, class discussions and other opportunities to further analyze and understand the families around them and the issues they encounter in daily life. For each course topic, a designated student group will first report the information they collected on the given problem, start a class discussion, and then the teacher will teach the content. It is expected that under such a course design, students' abilities of independent thinking, research cognition, development innovation, and public expression will be expanded.
