The goal of this course is to provide students with a solid understanding of current international business and financial market developments, and to help them possess good commands of international business and finance vocabularies used by industrial professionals. Specifically, the learning objectives are that when students complete this course, students should be able to (1) develop a critical awareness of current affairs of international business, (2) understand and maintain an interest in current issues of financial markets, (3) read and interpret reports by business journals, such as the Economists and The Wall Street Journal, and (4) become a quick leaner by taking part in peer discussions of current business and financial issues.
