本課程內容主要介紹相對論及量子的基本觀念及應用,尤其是如何從相對論得出電磁交互作用之方程式,以及量子力學所描述的物理世界。其他內容尚有波之粒子性質、粒子之波動性質、原子結構、氫原子之量子力學理論、多電子原子、分子、統計力學、固體之介紹。希望同學再修完本課程,可以為未來奈米電子及光電相關進階課程奠定基礎。The content of this course mainly introduces the basic concepts and applications of relativity and quantum, especially how to derive the equations of electromagnetic interaction from the theory of relativity, and the physical world described by quantum mechanics. Other contents include the particle properties of waves, wave properties of particles, atomic structure, quantum mechanical theory of hydrogen atoms, introduction to multi-electron atoms, molecules, statistical mechanics, and solids. I hope that by completing this course, students can lay the foundation for future advanced courses related to nanoelectronics and optoelectronics.
