Teaching (Course) Objectives:
(1) Human factors engineering aims to discover knowledge about human behavior, abilities, limitations and other characteristics, and apply it to the design of tools, machines, systems, tasks, work and environments, etc., so that humans can use them more effectively. Productivity, safety, comfort and effectiveness
(2) Human factors engineering is the discipline of understanding the interactions between humans and other components in systems; it is also the profession of applying theoretical principles, data and methods in design to enhance human well-being and system performance. The discipline of "Human Factors Engineering" explores knowledge about human behavior, abilities, limitations and other characteristics, and applies it to the design of tools, machines, systems, tasks, work and environments, etc., so that humans can use them more effectively. Productive, safe, comfortable and effective. It is an elective/compulsory course for engineering students in various universities in recent years.
(3) Let the students understand the meaning and basic theory of human factors engineering, and be able to apply what they have learned to improve the living or working environment and equipment to achieve safety, comfort, and efficiency.
