This course covers (1) Foundation materials of electric circuits, including Ohm’s law, series and parallel of resistors Kirchhoff's Voltage Law (KVL), Kirchhoff's Current Law (KCL), Thevenin's form and Norton's form to represent signal source, impedance elements and concepts, including resistive, capacitive and inductive elements, voltage divider’s rule and current divider’s rule large signal and small signal representation Analog and digital signals, and concepts of amplification. (2) Studies of basic electronic devices, including operational amplifiers, diodes, Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor Field Effect Transistors (MOSFET), Bipolar Junction Transistors (BJT).
