課程目標在引導學生瞭解環境經濟學的基礎與理論，使學生在面對環境相關議題時，譬如全球氣候變遷、空氣污染、水污染與廢棄物管理，能夠利用經濟學的成本效益分析方法，分析環境汙染防治的社會效益與成本，訂定適當的環境保護政策，包含命令管制、排放費和排放權交易制度等，以追求環境永續發展。The goal of the course is to guide students to understand the foundation and theory of environmental economics, so that students can use cost-benefit analysis methods of economics to analyze and analyze issues related to the environment, such as global climate change, air pollution, water pollution and waste management. The social benefits and costs of environmental pollution prevention and control, and the formulation of appropriate environmental protection policies, including command and control, emission fees and emission rights trading systems, in order to pursue sustainable development of the environment.
