本課程為生命科學系,大一新生的入門課程。課程之內容將以探討細胞的功能為主。其內容涵蓋細胞的結構及分子組成、基因的調控、遺傳、細胞的功能以及細胞分裂的機制。本課程之目的在於使大一的同學能夠具有整體的分子細胞觀念,熟悉瞭解生物學上的英文用語. 本課程利用翻轉教室概念進行教學,讓學生預先閱讀課程內容後在課堂上充分進行討論,希望本課程結束後,學生具有相當的基礎可以閱讀及分析細胞分子生物學相關的知識。This course is an introductory course for freshmen in the Department of Life Sciences. The content of the course will focus on exploring the functions of cells. Its content covers the structure and molecular composition of cells, gene regulation, inheritance, cell functions and the mechanism of cell division. The purpose of this course is to enable first-year students to have an overall concept of molecules and cells and become familiar with English terms in biology. This course uses the flipped classroom concept to teach, allowing students to read the course content in advance and then fully discuss it in class. It is hoped that after the completion of this course, students will have a solid foundation to read and analyze knowledge related to cell molecular biology.
藉講演、視聽教材、野外觀察與實習,使學生對植物的結構,生理調節, 微生物及台灣生物多樣性有初步之認識。此課程開設之目的,在使所有生物系之學生,不論其未來學術興趣是分子生物、遺傳工程、生態保育或甚至是跨學科之領域,皆能因對生物之多樣性有充分認識,而能對生命現象有完整的認知。藉對地球上現生物種大尺度的掌握,而能中肯的了解生命現象,不會只將對生命之了解或認知侷限於分子或物理化學層次之間,過渡簡約化對生命之認知,以致自我限制了將來的發展。
