Introduces the development of world culture from the Renaissance to modern times. Focusing on the political history of various places, the development of major religions, and important cultural issues, it presents the interaction of different regions, different nationalities and ethnic groups, and the impact of thought, economy, science, and social structure. The course provides the context and causes of the cultural history of the modern world.
