讓學生階段性完成對台灣美術史個時期發展與代表性藝術家及作品的了解與認識。

Allow students to complete their understanding of the development of Taiwan's art history and representative artists and works in stages.

本課程的討論主要含括：
(1)史前時代與原住民的文化
(2)漢人移民與清代的台灣藝術
(3)日治時代的台灣藝術
(4)二次大戰後的台灣藝術
(5)現代主義的引進
(6)八0年代的鄉土運動辯論
(7)美術館與畫廊時代的來臨─八0年代以後的台灣藝術

The discussion in this course mainly includes:
(1) Prehistoric times and aboriginal culture
(2) Han immigrants and Taiwanese art in the Qing Dynasty
(3) Taiwanese art during the Japanese colonial period
(4)Taiwanese art after World War II
(5)The introduction of modernism
(6) The rural movement debate in the 1980s
(7) The advent of the era of art museums and galleries - Taiwanese art after the 1980s
