授課重點在於介紹與解析現代運動與休閒活動的意涵、基本概念、及相關基本理論，希望藉由課程講授及網路互動方式達到下列主要目標：
1. 了解現今運動休閒的基本概念，理論及相關發展。
2. 培養學生了解對過去、現在、及未來各項運動休閒產業的沿革及發展方向。
3. 充實學生在運動休閒產業的基本經營與管理方面專業知識。
4. 激發學生對運動休閒產業方面的思考力、想像力及創造力。

The focus of the teaching is to introduce and analyze the meaning, basic concepts, and related basic theories of modern sports and leisure activities. It is hoped that the following main goals can be achieved through course teaching and online interaction:
1. Understand the basic concepts, theories and related developments of today’s sports and leisure.
2. Cultivate students to understand the history and development direction of various sports and leisure industries in the past, present and future.
3. Enrich students’ professional knowledge in the basic operation and management of the sports and leisure industry.
4. Stimulate students’ thinking, imagination and creativity in the sports and leisure industry.
