教育目標 Course Target

1.對於研究方法與方法論能建立基礎的概念。
2.熟悉藝術研究的內涵與議題,以及其在質性研究的理念、研究方法、研究工具以及資料分析的基本方法。
3.瞭解文獻探討在研究上的重要性、功能與寫作的方式。
4.熟悉論文計畫與論文寫作的格式。

1. Be able to establish basic concepts of research methods and methodology.
2. Be familiar with the connotation and issues of art research, as well as its concepts, research methods, research tools and basic methods of data analysis in qualitative research.
3. Understand the importance, function and writing methods of literature discussion in research.
4. Be familiar with thesis planning and thesis writing format.

課程概述 Course Description

「研究」是利用有計畫與系統化的資料收集、分析和解釋的方法,藉以解決問題的知識與實踐過程。本課程將針對博物館/美術館、美學與藝術行政的需求,嘗試協助學生了解研究方法的基本概念與特性,探討美學與藝術行政研究的方法,學習如何實施(質性與量性的)研究、進行資料搜集、分析與闡釋,培養解讀及評析各類研究報告的能力,也學習如何撰寫研究計畫書、以及準備口頭報告,奠定從事論文研究的基礎。簡言之,本課程的目地在使學生既可以獲得綜合「理解」與「解釋」之能力,且得以配備充份的知識與實際的操作技術。

"Research" is the knowledge and practical process of solving problems using planned and systematic methods of data collection, analysis and interpretation. This course will be aimed at the needs of museums/art galleries, aesthetics and art administration. It will try to help students understand the basic concepts and characteristics of research methods, explore methods of aesthetics and art administration research, learn how to conduct (qualitative and quantitative) research, collect, analyze and interpret data, develop the ability to interpret and evaluate various research reports, and also learn how to write research proposals and prepare oral reports, laying the foundation for engaging in thesis research. In short, the purpose of this course is to enable students to acquire the ability to comprehensively "understand" and "explain", and to be equipped with sufficient knowledge and practical operating techniques.
