本課程以清末以降，遞演至日治時期、國民政府時期，至解嚴之前的台灣美術為範疇。
以數個藝術主題為專題單元，個別探討台灣在洋風吹拂影響之下的藝術狀態，作為學生研究能力根柢的基礎培養。

This course covers Taiwanese art since the late Qing Dynasty, through the Japanese colonial period, the National Government period, and before the lifting of martial law.
Several art themes are used as thematic units to individually explore the artistic status of Taiwan under the influence of foreign winds, as a basis for cultivating students' research abilities.
