Cluster Mean Field Theory
教育目標 Course Target
平均場理論在統計力學以及凝態物理當中，都有非常重要的應用。在本課程中我們將以磁性系統為我們的理論模型，包括Ising模型及海森堡模型等。我們會先以經典的平均場理論作出發點，然後再考慮利用計算機處理有限晶格(集團)的平均場近似，來進一步修正相變點的精確度。有了基礎的平均場理論的概念與計算方法，同學可以運用集團平均場理論來計算較為複雜的磁性系統，包括有多種交互作用互相競爭的複雜系統。
Mean field theory has very important applications in statistical mechanics and condensed matter physics. In this course we will use the magnetic system as our theoretical model, including the Ising model and the Heisenberg model. We will first take the classical mean field theory as a starting point, and then consider the use of computer processing of the mean field approximation of finite lattices (groups) to further correct the accuracy of the phase transition point. With the basic concepts and calculation methods of mean field theory, students can use group mean field theory to calculate more complex magnetic systems, including complex systems with multiple competing interactions.
