（一） 使學生簡單瞭解大衛？休謨(David Hume)之為宗教哲學家的生平與著作、思想背景與學說要旨。
（二） 透過對休謨原典An Enquiry concerning Human Understanding 中第十節 “Of Miracles”、第十一節 “Of a Particular Providence and of a Future State”以及Hume On Natural Religion中 “Dialogues Concerning Natural Religion By David Hume, ESQ” 選文的研讀，瞭解其自然宗教的思想：反超自然(anti-supernaturalism)、反人神同形論(anti-anthropomorphism)、反目的論與設計論證、反宇宙論證的懷疑自然主義立場。
（三） 透過對休謨宗教哲學原典的研讀，瞭解其學說對西方宗教哲學的影響與地位。

(1) Let students briefly understand David? David Hume (David Hume) is a religious philosopher's life and works, ideological background and theoretical gist.
(2) Through the analysis of Section 10 “Of Miracles”, Section 11 “Of a Particular Providence and of a Future State” in Hume’s original text An Inquiry concerning Human Understanding and “Dialogues Concerning Natural Religion By David Hume, ESQ” in Hume On Natural Religion Study the selected articles to understand his thoughts on natural religion: anti-supernaturalism, anti-anthropomorphism, anti-teleology and design argument, and anti-cosmic argument.
(3) Through the study of Hume’s original text of religious philosophy, understand the influence and status of his doctrine on Western religious philosophy.
