在邁入二十一世紀的今日，「國際關係」似乎已經成為世界各國無法迴避的課題，同樣地，東南亞各國也不能予以忽視。基於此，本課程嘗試從國際關係的角度和學理概說，探討當前東南亞的國際關係現狀和相關課題，諸如南中國海主權爭端、海洋東南亞的領土爭議、跨國恐怖主義、國際組織和區域經濟整合等相關議題；本課程的目標是期望透過理論與個案的印證，提供學生一個初步的認識。

As we enter the 21st century, "international relations" seems to have become an unavoidable issue for countries around the world. Similarly, Southeast Asian countries cannot ignore it either. Based on this, this course attempts to explore the current status of international relations in Southeast Asia and related topics from the perspective of international relations and theoretical overview, such as sovereignty disputes in the South China Sea, territorial disputes in maritime Southeast Asia, transnational terrorism, international organizations, and regional economic integration. The goal of this course is to provide students with a preliminary understanding through theoretical and case verification.
