我國農業團體以農會組織最為龐大及最有系統，由於其資源的關係，長期以來對於我國地方具有政治及經濟上絕對的影響力，尤其是「在地性」的特質，該組織對於地方政治及經濟更加盤根錯節。
1900年台灣成立第1個農會至今已超過百年歷史，農會是台灣農業發展的重要的角色，農會與政府間形成一個彈性且特別的「治理機制」，更形成是一個緊密的「夥伴關係」，彼此共同為台灣農業努力，推動著許多重要農業政策，政府雖然為農會主管機關，但農會又握有相當份量的政治經濟影響力，形成兩者之間極其微妙的關係。
最後，比較他國農業團體與政治，反省我國農業團體應如何變革，進而說明探討在民主制度中，此種現象應如何改進及修正，以利我國政治制度更加完備，農業經濟能更上層樓。
透過本實務性課程，希望能加強學生對於政治社會實務的經驗，並開拓學生實務經驗之視野，以厚植學生未來在社會的競爭能力。

Farmers' associations are the largest and most systematic agricultural organizations in my country. Due to their resources, they have had absolute political and economic influence on local areas in our country for a long time. Especially because of their "locality" characteristics, this organization is even more intricately linked to local politics and economy.
It has been more than a century since the first farmers' association was established in Taiwan in 1900. The farmers' association plays an important role in the development of Taiwan's agriculture. The farmers' association and the government have formed a flexible and special "governance mechanism" and a close "partnership." They work together for Taiwan's agriculture and promote many important agricultural policies. Although the government is the supervisory authority of the farmers' association, the farmers' association also holds a considerable amount of political and economic influence, forming an extremely delicate relationship between the two.
Finally, it compares agricultural groups and politics in other countries, reflects on how my country's agricultural groups should be reformed, and then discusses how this phenomenon should be improved and corrected in a democratic system, so that our country's political system will be more complete and the agricultural economy can reach a higher level.
Through this practical course, we hope to enhance students' experience in political and social practice and broaden their horizons in practical experience, so as to enhance students' future competitiveness in society.
