This course is organized in 2 semesters and designed for the students to explore main current of
international politics; prevailing theories and approaches to international studies; major forces and
history of international politics; the nature of international system, the nature of power; the cause of
confict;conditions for international cooperation and peace; the role of international law and organization
in managing conflict and enabling world order and peace.

國際政治強調理論與個案研究。面對林林總總國際政治現象，運用那些角度切入瞭解是個嚴肅課題。本課程期望從總體與個體面向著手，使學習者掌握基礎，進而對國際政治的理論與實務產生廣泛性瞭解。

International politics emphasizes theory and case studies. Facing various international political phenomena, using those angles to understand them is a serious issue. This course hopes to enable learners to master the basics from the overall and individual aspects, and then develop a broad understanding of the theory and practice of international politics.
