市場經濟是透過組織在運作，而主流經濟學卻忽略組織的重要性，本課程將補充這方面的遺漏。課程將以經濟組織為主要探討對象。先說明何以出現廠商，之後以(四種)拍賣市場，全球農產品交易市場和計程車服務市場說明市廠這種組織如何運作使資源使用和配置達最大效率化。然後說明「公司」組織，研究其影響，並探討幾個成功和失敗公司的案例；與加盟連鎖組織。最後介紹非營利組織和社會企業的概念。

The market economy operates through organizations, but mainstream economics ignores the importance of organizations. This course will make up for this omission. The course will focus on economic organization. First, explain why manufacturers appear, and then use (four) auction markets, global agricultural product trading markets and taxi service markets to explain how organizations such as market factories operate to maximize the efficiency of resource use and allocation. It then explains the "corporate" organization, examines its impact, and discusses several cases of successful and failed companies; and franchise chain organizations. Finally, the concepts of non-profit organizations and social enterprises are introduced.

市場經濟是依靠組織來運作的。家庭、營利企業、非營利事業、政府、市場等都是組織。本課程集中在解說私企業和非營利事業這兩大類組織方面。透過這課程學生能瞭解：一，各種組織的質性。二，組織如何透過契約進行經濟治理。三，現存的各種經濟組織模式。四，組織架構的設計原則。五，組織的人力資源管理。

Market economies rely on organizations to operate. Families, for-profit businesses, non-profits, governments, markets, etc. are all organizations. This course focuses on two major types of organizations: private businesses and nonprofits. Through this course, students can understand: 1. The nature of various organizations. Second, how organizations conduct economic governance through contracts. 3. Various existing economic organization models. 4. Design principles of organizational structure. 5. Human resource management of the organization.
