Reading Whitehead: Religion in the Making
教育目標 Course Target
使學生透過研讀英國哲學家懷德海短篇宗教名著《形成中的宗教》一書，了解當代宗教哲學基本議題：有關宗教起源的哲學分析、宗教與獨斷教條形成的宗教經驗、身體與精神在宗教中各具的地位、宗教的形上學基礎、上帝與道德秩序的關係、獨斷教條之為真理及受批判的對象，以及宗教意識的發展與分析等。
Students will learn about the basic issues of contemporary religious philosophy by studying the short religious classic "Religion in the Making" by British philosopher Whitehead: philosophical analysis of the origin of religion, religious experience in the formation of religion and dogmatic dogma, the respective positions of the body and spirit in religion, the metaphysical basis of religion, the relationship between God and moral order, dogma as truth and the object of criticism, and the development and analysis of religious consciousness.
