本課程目標有以下三點：
1. 瞭解智慧財產權法之基本體系與理論架構。並培養修課學生從爭議問題中，思考智慧財產權法之範圍與界線。
2. 學習比較法之研究方法。
3. 培養修課學生國際化思考之面向與觀點。

The objectives of this course are as follows:
1. Understand the basic system and theoretical structure of intellectual property law. It also trains students to think about the scope and boundaries of intellectual property law from controversial issues.
2. Learn the research methods of comparative method.
3. Cultivate the international thinking aspects and perspectives of course students.
