教育目標 Course Target

就美感經驗而言,每個時代的藝術與建築是互有感應、互相融通的,並且造就當代的視覺文化,滲透到公共與私密生活/文化領域。 自上世紀末以來,數位/網路科技的蓬勃發達,形成全新的創新基礎架構,對人性與生活的看待方式及價值取向也與以前不同。 簡單地說,新時代的人文視野正在急速變化中。 本課程希望藉由對當代藝術與建築的觀察討論,加上文化批判性觀點的介紹,能呈現當代的新人文意識與新文明趨向。 這是一種以「文化動詞」為概念,來思考討論當代藝術與建築創作及影響的企圖,也就是探討「如何以藝術與建築讓文化動起來?」這樣的議題。 本課程計畫採取兩種策略,一是空間上落實在城市範疇,聚焦來說,關注舊市區(如台中市中區),針對老屋再利用成為新生意,作為觀察及參與重點; 另一是時間上以「活」的成長模式進行,自由設定每學期的學習主題,以延續累積方式作長期跨領域整合。 城市是一具有高度文化影響力的舞台,提供多元的藝術與建築演出,也促成跨城市與跨國際的觀點交流,當代的創新科技驅動創新城市發展,匯集新創作能量,成就出城市的獨特風格。 台中市為台灣本島與海峽圈域的中心都會,將隨著未來區域發展形勢,成為藝術文化及經濟活力集散的樞紐,將課程的學習能量參與到城市如此真實成長過程,是一歷史性的機會。 本學期這門課期望以「城市策展」主題,與古典玫瑰園事業公司合作,以台中市役所為行動學習對象(或基地),採取方案導向(project-based)的學習規劃,要求以台中市役所再利用為台中城市策展基地作為期末方案成果。 課堂上也安排古典玫瑰園幹部加入討論,共同探索當代城市的創新藝術與建築可能形式趨向。In terms of aesthetic experience, art and architecture in each era are mutually responsive and integrated, creating contemporary visual culture that penetrates into public and private life/cultural fields. Since the end of the last century, the vigorous development of digital/network technology has formed a new innovation infrastructure, and the way of viewing human nature and life and its value orientation are also different from before. Simply put, the humanistic vision in the new era is changing rapidly. This course hopes to present contemporary new humanistic consciousness and new civilization trends through observation and discussion of contemporary art and architecture, as well as the introduction of cultural critical perspectives. This is an attempt to use the concept of "cultural verb" to think and discuss the creation and impact of contemporary art and architecture, that is, to explore issues such as "How to use art and architecture to make culture move?" This course plans to adopt two strategies. One is to implement it spatially in the urban context. Focusing on old urban areas (such as Taichung City Central District), the reuse of old houses into new businesses will be the focus of observation and participation; First, it is carried out in a "living" growth mode in terms of time, freely setting the learning themes for each semester, and conducting long-term cross-field integration in a continuous accumulation manner. The city is a stage with high cultural influence, providing diverse artistic and architectural performances, and also promoting cross-city and cross-international exchanges of views. Contemporary innovative technologies drive innovative urban development, gather new creative energy, and achieve the unique style of the city. . Taichung City is the central city of Taiwan's main island and the Taiwan Straits. It will become a hub of art, culture and economic vitality with the future regional development situation. It is a historic opportunity to participate in the learning energy of the course in such a real growth process of the city. . This semester, this course hopes to use the theme of "Urban Curation", cooperate with the Classical Rose Garden Enterprise, use the Taichung City Hall as the action learning object (or base), and adopt a project-based learning plan. It is required to use the Taichung City Hall Reuse it as Taichung City Curation Base as the final project result. Classical rose garden officials were also arranged to join the discussion in the class to jointly explore possible trends in innovative art and architecture in contemporary cities.
