本課程之教學目標在於啟迪研究生對於日本政府體系的理解認知與研究興趣，進而培養我國知日人才。The teaching objectives of this course are to cultivate our national talents in the understanding and research interests of graduate students in Japan.
近代日本影響台灣的政治與社會深遠，故有培養學生具備日本政府與政治之基礎認識之必要。本課程以日本戰後的政治發展為基礎，探討其憲政架構、政治體制、政黨派閥、民主發展、經濟社會變遷、以及外交關係等課題。本課程之教學目標在於，希冀啟迪研究生對於日本政府體系的理解省思與研究興趣，進而培養我國知日人才。
Modern Japan has influenced Taiwan's politics and society in a deep and profound way, so it is necessary to cultivate students to have the basic understanding of the Japanese government and politics. This course is based on political development after the Japanese war and explores its political structure, political system, political party sect, democratic development, economic and social changes, and diplomatic relations. The teaching objective of this course is to hope that graduate students will reflect on their understanding and research interests in the Japanese government system, and to cultivate our national talents.
