本課程之目標在於教導學生瞭解奈米技術於醫學工程之應用，並學習醫學電子及生醫光電之基本觀念。透過本課程，學生可以瞭解到目前微奈米技術如何被有效的應用在生醫檢測及醫學影像，並瞭解其運用在生醫上可能的風險與未來發展的瓶頸。

The goal of this course is to teach students the application of nanotechnology in medical engineering and to learn the basic concepts of medical electronics and bio-optical electricity. Through this course, students can understand how micronomine technology is currently effectively applied to biomedical testing and medical imaging, and understand the possible risks and future development of its use in biomedical medicine.

奈米技術於生物醫學工程之應用扮演越來越重要的角色，生理訊號量測與實際應用具有密切的相關性，對於生物系統的充份瞭解是生醫工程重要過程之一。在此課程中將會先介紹醫學工程基礎，包含:生醫材料、生物力學、生醫光電及醫學電子…等。選修學生須在以下三個主題：奈微米生醫感測系統、奈米生醫光電以及奈米生物晶片等領域選擇期末報告題目，尋求創新思考方向，以求在原理或應用上的突破，達成跨領域與技術整合性研究。

Nano technology plays an increasingly important role in the application of biological medical engineering. Physiological signal measurement is closely related to the actual application. A full understanding of biological systems is one of the important processes of biological medical engineering. In this course, the basics of medical engineering will be introduced first, including: biomedical materials, biomechanics, biophotography, and medical electronics... etc. Students should choose final report topics in the following three topics: Neimicro-biogenic medical sensing system, Nano-biogenic optical and nano-biochial wafers, etc., seek innovative thinking directions, so as to make breakthroughs in principles or applications, and achieve cross-domain and technology integration research.
