The goal of this course is to teach students what a system-on-chip (SoC) is and how to design a system-on-chip. Through this course, students can understand the difficulties and bottlenecks of current system chip design, and understand how to solve system chip design problems.
System chip design starts with an introduction and introduces a series of design processes, including system chip design process, platform design method, software and hardware co-design, real-time operating system, system chip testing and other units. By understanding each component unit, you can become familiar with the overall design process of the system chip. In addition to classroom teaching, this course also requires students to discuss and report on the current development of system chips, so that students can grasp the trends in system chip design. In addition, this course also arranges practical exercises so that students can fully understand the system chip design process.
