本課程的主要目的在於培養研究生獨立分析生物醫學資料的能力。課程將介紹資料分析的步驟，比較與討論各種統計方法的應用。本課程亦注重加強學生分析資料的經驗，每位學生需以統計軟體R分析資料，於期中與期末提出口頭報告，並撰寫期末報告。
學習目標如下:
1) 獨立進行資料分析。
2) 對統計軟體R有基本的瞭解。The main purpose of this course is to cultivate graduate students' ability to independently analyze biomedical data. The course will introduce the steps of data analysis and compare and discuss the application of various statistical methods. This course also focuses on enhancing students' experience in data analysis. Each student is required to analyze data using the statistical software R, present oral reports at mid-term and final, and write a final report.
The learning objectives are as follows:
1) Conduct data analysis independently.
2) Have a basic understanding of the statistical software R.
