私たちが毎日の生活の中でいろいろな人と行うコミュニケーションは動的なものであり、さまざまな要素によって構成され、左右されている。この授業では、コミュニケーション行動および言語使用における社会的・心理的要因に焦点を当て、日本語によるコミュニケーションの様々な具体例を紹介・分析しながら「言語使用の社会心理学」について学んでいく。そのためまずは、「言語意識」「アイデンティティ」「アコモデーション」などの概念を取り上げ、コミュニケーション研究における社会言語学・心理学的アプローチに必要な理論的枠組みと調査方法について紹介、検討する。また、言語政策や言語教育との関連についても考察し、マクロな視点から言語使用の諸相について討論する。（未完部分，請見課程內涵。）

這門課程先利用日語溝通的實例，從語言意識、語言行動、語言政策、語言教育等觀點去探討｢語言使用｣這個議題。接著介紹研究語言溝通所使用的社會語言學、心理學範疇的方法，規劃並執行以語言使用為主題的田野調查。

This course first uses examples of Japanese communication to explore the issue of "language use" from the perspectives of language awareness, language action, language policy, and language education. Then, we introduce the methods of sociolinguistics and psychology used in studying language communication, and plan and execute fieldwork on the theme of language use.
