本景觀工程(下學期)課程教學目標主要是讓學生領悟景觀有工程與結構實質內涵之理論與實務關聯可行性與永續性,進而讓學生在表達自己的景觀基地規劃設計時能充分了解景觀或環境設計是一種景觀理論與實務練習的實踐結果。以下即是八項主要達成的具體教學目標:
(1)學生能夠完整了解景觀基地規劃設計之工程與坡度地形地貌理論與重要實務,
(2)學生能夠計算並繪製配置,整地及集排水暨細部施工圖說,
(3)學生能夠了解使用者基於工程與結構之明確安全、健康空間需求
(4)學生能夠掌握基地地形運用,地形地貌改變關係、等高線與工程設計及工法運用暴雨水逕流管理
(5)學生能夠表達合理設計理念或設計要求以符合景觀工程設計永續發展經營概念
(6)學生能夠清楚掌握水文、氣候等之理論與表達自然集水排水,整地計畫,系統細部設計與施工規範之實務練習
(7)學生能夠清楚掌握水文對交通,道路定線、土壤、地質等之理論與實務練習The main purpose of this landscape engineering (Next Period) course teaching is to enable students to understand that the theory and practice of landscape has the feasibility and permanence of engineering and structural connotation, so that students can fully understand that landscape or environmental design is a result of landscape theory and practice when expressing their landscape base planning and design. The following are the eight main specific teaching objectives:
(1) Students can fully understand the engineering and slope topography and landform theory and important practices of landscape base planning and design.
(2) Students can calculate and draw configurations, floor preparation, drainage and detailed construction diagrams,
(3) Students can understand the users' clear safety and healthy space needs based on engineering and structure
(4) Students can master the use of the base terrain, the relationship between terrain and topography, the high-speed line, engineering design and engineering methods to use rainstorm water flow management
(5) Students can express reasonable design concepts or design requirements to meet the continuous development of landscape engineering design business concepts
(6) Students can clearly master the theory of hydrology, climate, etc. and express natural water collection and drainage, land preparation planning, system detailed design and construction regulations practice
(7) Students can clearly grasp the theory and practice of hydrology on traffic, road line, soil, geology, etc.

This year, Steven Storm, Kurt Nathan and Jake Wland's original works Site Engineering for LandscapeArchitects, 4th Ed. 2008 is the textbook for students.
