教育目標 Course Target

「在地老化(Aging in place)」概念,讓高齡者可獨立自主居住生活並參與社會活動,居住環境能夠滿足其生活「老有其所」的需求;落實「以人為本、永續發展」的價值觀,重視「創意設計」以提升擴大產業產能及附加價值。因此,未來高齡者勢必成為消費市場中具有份量的消費族群,這也是值得重視的設計課題。本課程以生活居家環境探討高齡者居家所面臨的困難,著眼於高齡者生理機能退化,擬將資訊科技(Information Technology)導入高齡者居家環境設計之中,藉此提升高齡者群自主生活之居住品質。讓修習同學具有高齡生活產品設計概念與能力為目標。

The concept of "Aging in place" allows the elderly to live independently and participate in social activities, and the living environment can meet their needs for "a place to grow old"; the values ​​of "people-oriented, sustainable development" are implemented, and "creative design" is emphasized to enhance and expand industrial production capacity and added value. Therefore, the elderly are bound to become an important consumer group in the consumer market in the future, which is also a design issue worthy of attention. This course uses the living home environment to explore the difficulties faced by the elderly at home, focusing on the degradation of the physiological functions of the elderly, and plans to introduce information technology (Information Technology) into the design of the elderly's home environment, thereby improving the living quality of the elderly's independent life. The goal is to equip students with the concepts and abilities of senior living product design.

課程概述 Course Description

「在地老化(Aging in place)」概念,讓高齡者可獨立自主居住生活並參與社會活動,居住環境能夠滿足其生活「老有其所」的需求;落實「以人為本、永續發展」的價值觀,重視「創意設計」以提升擴大產業產能及附加價值。因此,未來高齡者勢必成為消費市場中具有份量的消費族群,這也是值得重視的設計課題。本課程以生活居家環境探討高齡者居家所面臨的困難,著眼於高齡者生理機能退化,擬將資訊科技(Information Technology)導入高齡者居家環境設計之中,藉此提升高齡者群自主生活之居住品質。讓修習同學具有高齡生活產品設計概念與能力為目標。
本課程由「人本關懷」為出發點,以產品設計觀點探討高齡者適合生活環境與物件設計,導入IT技術,著重實地實習,專家演講領導、共同討論方式,考察探討高齡生活環境產品設計應有之方式及有效的計畫手法。
介紹邁入21世紀,「人本關懷」設計共通核心價值之實踐,舉實例說明這種設計思維如何被強化而融入於設計活動中。而這些設計思維也是從事高齡者相關探討與設計時,重要的依循。在台灣邁入高齡化社會的同時,台灣人口與家庭結構逐漸改變,在這前提下,討論居住型態之不同對高齡者所帶來之生活產生影響。首先就生活空間規劃合理性、浴廁設施與使用習慣安全性、家用3C產品的使用習慣與需求、居家輔具與照顧器具設計等方向進行課程講義。並邀請室內設計、衛浴設計、產業設計等專家以實務經驗,進行演說。也將進行校外體驗參訪。

This course starts from "humanistic care" and explores the design of living environment and objects suitable for the elderly from the perspective of product design. It introduces IT technology, focuses on field practice, expert lectures and leadership, and joint discussion methods to examine and explore the methods and effective planning techniques for product design of the elderly's living environment.
Introducing the practice of the common core value of "humanistic care" design in the 21st century, and giving examples to illustrate how this design thinking can be strengthened and integrated into design activities. These design thinking are also important to follow when engaging in discussion and design related to the elderly. As Taiwan enters an aging society, Taiwan's population and family structure are gradually changing. Under this premise, we discuss the impact of different living styles on the lives of the elderly. First, course lectures were given on the rationality of living space planning, the safety of bathroom and toilet facilities and usage habits, the usage habits and needs of household 3C products, and the design of home assistive devices and care appliances. Experts in interior design, bathroom design, and industrial design were invited to give speeches based on their practical experience. Off-campus experience visits will also be conducted.
