此課程主要希望學員學習到如何利用產品語意,賦予產品合理、理所當然的造型,促使使用者在使用產品時能達到正確使用、流暢使用等良善的使用過程。This course mainly hopes that students can learn how to use product semantics to give products a reasonable and natural shape, so that users can achieve a good use process such as correct and smooth use when using products.
當你看到一件產品時,你可能會立刻產生很多疑問,它是什麼?!它是用來作什麼的?!它怎麼使用?!它的性能如何?!它重不重?!它多少錢?!而在產品企劃、設計初期設計師經由各種客觀的條件思考進而設定出產品的定義,再藉由產品外觀曲線、材質挑選、表面處理、複合材質等等設計方式在設定的定義下讓產品自身解答使用者會產生的疑問。
本課程對於工設系來說是很重要的一門課程,對於日後的設計課題與專題設計都有不小的影響。其中會教學員如何將基本功能、情感因素、外觀線條、材質觸感、色彩刺激、符號印象等串連起來,讓產品表達出自己要表達的不必經由產品說明書就可以流暢的使用,也希望學員學習此能力後能夠在產品設計上發揮更多創意,讓設計不只是做出一個漂亮的外型,同時還要做出對於使用者友善的外型與合乎功能的外觀。
