The British royal family evolved into a constitutional monarchy at the end of the 17th century and has become a model of modern democratic constitutionalism. This course discusses the relationship between the British Crown, Cabinet, and Parliament, and then analyzes the impact of British constitutionalism on the United States, Europe and other countries.

英國王室自17世紀末演變為君主立憲制，已成為近代民主憲政之典範，本課程討論英國王統、內閣與議會之關係，進而剖析英國憲政對爾後美歐及其他各國之影響。
The British royal family evolved into a constitutional monarchy at the end of the 17th century and has become a model of modern democratic constitutionalism. This course discusses the relationship between the British royal family, the cabinet and parliament, and then analyzes the impact of British constitutionalism on the United States, Europe and other countries.
