藉著理論與個案的討論與說明，使學生對政治暴力和革命有廣泛的瞭解。經由跨國資料的分析，除了對於各國在暴力和革命的發生原因有深入的探討外，並對於有關政治暴力和革命行為的研究假設加以驗證。本課程著重在二次世界大戰以後，各國國內的政治暴力的一般性理論的驗證與探尋。

Through discussion and explanation of theory and case, students can have a broad understanding of political violence and revolution. Through the analysis of transnational data, in addition to in-depth exploration of the causes of violence and revolution in various countries, research on political violence and revolutionary behavior is verified. This course focuses on the verification and exploration of general theories of political violence in various countries after the Second World War.
