本課程以政治系學生為主要授課對象,目的計有:
1. 從政治經濟的角度來說,經濟學並不只是個研究方法,經濟事務本身就具有重大影響。傳統國際政治長期忽略經濟事務的影響,認為經濟只是次級因素,但回顧歷史的發展不難發現,國際金融才是決定國家發展的關鍵。本課程希望學生能嘗試從國際經濟的角度,重新檢視過去所學習的國際政治。
2. 國際政治經濟學不但涉及國際層次,同時也涉及國內層次。國內因素往往是一國政策最主要的考量,連帶的,強權國家的政策對於其他國家也會造成影響。本課程檢視強權國國內政策的影響,以建立學生對政策領域完整的認識。
3. 從實務而言,國際投資的審視必須同時考量政治與經濟因素,而往往政治系與經濟系的學生總缺其中一塊。本課程希望建立學生在這兩塊領域內基本的認識,以作為未來有興趣者發展的基礎。This course is mainly taught by students in the Department of Politics, with the purpose of:
1. From the perspective of political economy, economics is not just a research method, economic affairs itself have a significant impact. Traditional international politics has long ignored the impact of economic affairs and believed that economy is only a secondary factor, but looking back at the development of history, it is not difficult to find that international finance is the key to determining the development of the country. This course hopes that students can try to re-examine the international politics they have learned in the past from an international economic perspective.
2. International political and economics studies involve not only international levels, but also domestic levels. Internal factors are often the most important consideration of a country's policy, and the policies of the power-powered countries will also have an impact on other countries. This course examines the impact of national policies in power to establish a complete understanding of the policy field.
3. In practice, the review of international investment must also consider political and economic factors, and often students in the political and economic departments lack one of them. This course hopes to establish basic knowledge among students in these two fields as a basis for future development of interested people.
