本課程主要以循序漸進的方式，教導學生利用軟體撰寫程式語言，修習本課程後，學生將可瞭解程式設計之基本原理、具備撰寫程式的基本技能，並且能夠培養學生利用程式設計來解決問題的能力。課程內容主要包括：程式語言的基本知識、變數、運算式與運算子、條件處理、程式重複執行的方法、陣列、函數、指標、陣列及指標的應用、各種資料型態、及檔案的輸入與輸出等。
