本課程先教導學生半導體元件如,被動元件、pn接面和可變電容以及主動元件如,雙載子電晶體及金氧半場效電晶體的物理原理及技術製程。爾後學生再修習積體電路設計以及其它應用電子電路課程時,除已具備各標準元件的基礎知識,更可深入探討瞭解積體電路的實際運作。This course first teaches students the physical principles and technical processes of semiconductor components such as passive components, pn junctions and variable capacitors, as well as active components such as bipolar transistors and metal oxide semi-field effect transistors. When students later take courses on integrated circuit design and other applied electronic circuits, in addition to possessing basic knowledge of various standard components, students can also have an in-depth understanding of the actual operation of integrated circuits.
